Beyond Suffering Advanced StudiesBeyond Suffering Advanced Studies: A Christian View on the Healthcare Humanities is a unique and groundbreaking advanced course designed to reintroduce the ancient ideal of practical reasoning, self-knowledge and action in the care of the sick and the marginalized, with a special emphasis on people with disabilities. Modeled after the flagship curriculum Beyond Suffering: A Christian View on Disability Ministry, this course is comprised of four modules and four thought-provoking practicums:

  1. An Overview of the Issue
  2. Theological Aspects
  3. Healthcare Institutional Ethos
  4. Applied Ethics

The Beyond Suffering Advanced Studies: A Christian View on the Healthcare Humanities is interdisciplinary and versatile. It is available fully online or can be taught as a 16 week semester long undergraduate or graduate course. CEUs and CMEs are now available. First course begins May 4 2015!
