Cammy and Duncan KeithLittle Cammy was born with Rett syndrome, a rare and severe neurological disorder that left her unable to walk or speak—which means she can’t play sports like most kids. But Cammy loves watching hockey, especially when the Chicago Blackhawks are on the ice. It’s why when her mom and dad heard of the team’s #WhatsYourGoal campaign, they shared Cammy’s wish to someday skate on ice and score a goal. Well, what happened next was way beyond what Cammy and her family had expected. Not only did she get to meet her favorite Blackhawks player, defenseman Duncan Keith—using an adaptive device, Keith and Cammy skated around ice rink, scored goals, and even took a ‘selfie’ to post on her Facebook page! You just have to see it for yourself, so click here to watch the video and then share it with your friends on Facebook. (And good on ya’ Chicago Blackhawks for bringing awareness to Rett syndrome and making Cammy’s goal come true!)
