We Love Our Chair Corps!

Chair CorpsFor years, Forrest Riddle has been collecting wheelchairs for our Wheels for the World outreach. Not only does he collect chairs, but he loves teaching people in his church and community about disability awareness. Through his efforts, he has raised a lot of funds for Wheels, and recently he came to our International Disability Center to present his latest gift. I have been trying to talk him into serving on a Wheels for the World team, but Forrest insists his giftedness remains on the ‘front end’ collecting chairs! We are thankful for Forrest and the other 340 Chair Corps volunteers who search high and low for wheelchairs. Through their efforts, we are able to provide wheelchairs all over the world to people who are in desperate need. Romans 12:7 says, “If your gift is serving others, serve them well,” and Forrest is a great example of glad-hearted service to the Lord. There are many ways you can serve in the Wheels for the World effort – come be a part of the team!
